We built our home in 1975 and have been there 40 years so selling was challenging for us. Peter immediately impressed us with his knowledge of the industry and market expertise, empathy and personality. The prospect of selling my home hung over my head like a dark, forbidding cloud. My home was where I had found peace, comfort and refuge for over 40 years. It was my mum and dad's house, it was the keeper of memories of hope and despair, joy and laughter, and infinite sadness.

My  pragmatic side, however, told me it was time to downsize by moving to a small unit in a retirement facility. This is when the dreaded house sale process began, and this is when I met Peter Anderson.

Peter explained the entire sale process to me, and showed me remarkable patience with his rather unusual client, the seller who fundamentally hopes the sale will be a long time coming to fruition, thus extending the time she can stay in her home with its familiar surroundings. The speed and efficiency of Peter and his staff ensured that this would not happen, and a sale occurred at the right price within a day of listing.

Just recently, my sister and I sold our late brother's house, which has been in our family for over sixty years and had many fond memories; we were both a little sad about having to part with the old place.

Our brother, a bachelor, had lived there alone for over thirty years and the place was no oil-painting.

We employed Peter Anderson to act as our agent.  Peter told us what needed to be done before it went on the market, and we did the best we could. The For Sale sign went up and Peter went to work; a month or so later the place was sold for a reasonable price.

At the time, my sister was ill and not long home from the hospital. Peter made two trips from Redcliffe to Bundaberg, each taking the full day, so that my sister would not have to travel down to Redcliffe and back, just to sign papers.

Peter was both helpful and considerate to us both and I don't think anyone could ask for better than that from anyone.  From both Patsy and myself, thank you Peter for all your help.
