Having decided to sell my Scarborough beachfront unit, I appointed Peter Anderson as the exclusive selling agent to complete the sale. At the time I was living permanently overseas, and even though over the years I had many contacts with various Redcliffe Peninsula agents, I decided to appoint Peter as he had come highly recommended by close friends. Living overseas made the choice of agent even more critical as I would need to leave the process almost entirely in the hands of the agent.

We had our Scarborough house on the market for some months when Peter Anderson from Anderson Family Real Estate came knocking on our door. I was a little hesitant initially having dealt with multiple real estate agents over the years. However we talked about many other subjects besides housing, and there was not the usual pressure that one feels when dealing with agents, such as mobile phone calls incessantly and forms to be signed now without any detailed explanation of what you are signing, must rush as there is another appointment to attend. There were also many things we agreed with about selling the house, no auctions, no open home, no local paper advertising - I have learnt that these are not vital in obtaining a SOLD sign.
